We recently visited Monterey and enjoyed a few books out of the Little Free Library at #DennisTheMenacePark . It was really fun for the kids to get a new book on vacation to read in the car so I thought I’d keep the spirit going and put some copies of #donteverpickyournosewithyourtoes along with a few post cards and bookmarks in the little free libraries in #nevadacity . My favorite part of publishing my book has been getting pictures from friends and family of their kids reading it and hearing that they all got a good laugh or that it helped their kids figure out how to use a tissue 😆. I’ve had a lot of questions about self publishing so I just wanted to share where my journey is currently:

Though I uploaded the same files to two different publishing outlets my printed book on Ingram Spark looks extremely different than the ones I’ve already published on Amazon.

So this week’s adventure is tweaking the files in photoshop to try to match what the prints from Amazon look like. The challenge is that you can’t see your changes (since they look different after printing) so I will now wait 3-5 days for a digital proof then 7-10 days for a physical copy…

The process is slow but the end result is worth it! Hoping this next print turns out better.
